To make the most of goals in Pear Suite, it is essential to use the platform's organizational tools to ensure clear tracking and consistent care delivery. By leveraging domains, actionable steps, and templates, your team can maintain a high standard of support across all member interactions.
Organizing goals by domain
Use Domains to keep goals organized and easily searchable. For example, all housing-related goals should be categorized under the "Housing" domain, while medical needs fall under "Health." This structure allows your team to quickly filter for specific needs and ensures that reporting remains clean and thematic.
Breaking down goals into action items
A goal is most effective when it is broken down into clear, actionable steps using the Action Items section. Instead of a single broad objective, list the individual milestones required to reach it. This modular approach makes it easier for different staff members to follow up on specific tasks and visually track progress toward the final outcome.
Maintaining accurate statuses
Update Goal Statuses regularly to reflect the real-time situation. Whether a member has made a small breakthrough or the external circumstances have changed, keeping the status current (e.g., moving from "Unresolved" to "Active") ensures that the entire care team is aligned and that organizational progress reports are accurate.
Leveraging goal templates
To increase efficiency, use Goal Templates for common support types. This prevents your team from having to start from scratch for every new member and ensures that standard action items are consistently applied. If you need help configuring templates that apply goals automatically through activity flows, your Customer Success Manager is available to assist with the logic and setup.
