Tracking Progress and Updating Goal Status
Strategies for monitoring your goals and adjusting status to maintain motivation and achieve success.

This article explains how to manage and update goals within the Pear Suite Platform. Keeping goal statuses, action items, and notes current ensures that the care team remains aligned on a member's progress and that organizational reporting is accurate.
Step 1 – Access the Goals tab
- Navigate to the Members section on the left-hand sidebar or your main dashboard.
- Search for and select the specific member to open their profile.
- Click on the Goals tab located in the left-hand menu of the member profile to view all active and historical goals.
Step 2 – Update action items and notes
- Locate the goal you wish to update from the list.
- Check off individual Action Items as they are completed to visually track progress through the goal's roadmap.
- Add or update Notes within the goal to document specific challenges, milestones, or changes in the member's situation.
- Note: Consistent documentation within the notes section provides valuable context for other team members reviewing the case.
Step 3 – Manage goal statuses
- Use the dropdown menu next to the goal title to change the current status as the member moves forward.
- Select the status that most accurately reflects the current state of the goal:
- Active: Use this when you are currently providing support or working on action items.
- Unresolved: Use this if a need has been identified but the member has not yet received help or engagement has not started.
- Resolved: Use this when the primary issue has been handled, but you are still tracking the member or reviewing the outcome.
- Completed: Use this once the goal is fully addressed; this will archive the goal as a successful outcome.
- Ensure statuses are updated in real-time to support accurate organizational reporting and data integrity.
