The PCHI Quarterly Benchmark Report (QBR)
Table of Contents
Overview
The Quarterly Benchmark Report is the standardized reporting requirement that every PCHI-participating organization must submit each quarter. Pear Suite automatically captures and organizes all PCHI-required data through structured workflows, eliminating the need for manual data collection or external spreadsheets. The QBR export simply reflects the work already completed in-platform through CHW Visits, Pathways, Supervisor Reviews, and Episodes of Care.
How the QBR Works in Pear Suite
The QBR is generated from a single export template that is shared down to all organizations. This ensures every site is reporting the same metrics in the same structure. Because the data behind the QBR comes directly from each required PCHI workflow component, organizations meet reporting expectations as long as CHWs and supervisors complete their work using the platform as designed.
Where Key Data Points Come From
-
Enrollment and Engagement Metrics
Pulled from CHW Visit submissions, risk identification, and Episode of Care timelines. -
Pathway Metrics
Counted from open and closed Pathways, including closure statuses selected by CHWs and confirmed through supervisor reviews. -
Successful vs Unsuccessful Pathway Work
Determined by final closure statuses and associated supervisor review approvals. -
Billing-Eligible Completions
Derived from supervisor-approved completed Pathways, which represent the only Pathways included in claimable billing and related QBR totals. -
Aggregated Demographic Breakouts
All QBR tables that parse data by demographic factors such as age, gender, race, and ethnicity rely entirely on the data stored in each member’s profile. These tallies and subgroup calculations are only as complete and accurate as the demographic information entered during enrollment and updates to the member record.
Pear Suite tracks all of these automatically through standard workflows and templates, so frontline staff do not need to manually tag, calculate, or categorize any of this information.

How to Run the Quarterly Benchmark Report
The QBR is a dynamic report that organizations can run at any time. Users can select the specific quarter or multiple quarters they want to generate, allowing them to review or validate data before the official reporting period.
To run the QBR:
- Navigate to the Data Management page.
- Select the Exports tab.
- Locate the Quarterly Benchmark Report export template that has been shared to your organization.
- Click into that export template.
- Open the Exports tab inside the template.
- In the top right corner, select the green Create New Export button.
- When the Create Data Export modal appears, choose the Year, then select the Quarter or multiple Quarters you want included.
- Click Create Export at the bottom of the modal.
- A new QBR export will automatically download. Once opened, you will see a dynamic representation of the Quarterly Benchmark Report that reflects all data entered into Pear Suite up to that point.

Minimal Manual Effort Required
Because the QBR is entirely auto-generated from existing platform activity, organizations only need to ensure the following:
- CHWs complete the CHW Visit accurately.
- Recommendations are reviewed and Pathways are opened as required by PCHI.
- Pathways are worked and closed using the correct statuses.
- Supervisors complete review requests to finalize closures.
- Member profiles are closed properly to complete an Episode of Care.
When those workflows are followed, the QBR requires no additional preparation. The export is immediately ready for submission each quarter.
How QBR Data Supports PCHI Compliance
The QBR is one of the primary tools PCHI uses to evaluate model fidelity across organizations. Because Pear Suite structures its workflows around PCHI’s required logic, the QBR reflects:
- Accurate Pathway work and outcomes.
- Verified supervisor oversight.
- Correct enrollment and discharge timing.
- Consistent completion metrics across all sites.
This ensures organizations maintain compliance without extra administrative burden.
