Editing a Billable Activity
How to modify details for a completed activity, including billing information and member notes.

This article explains how to modify details for a completed activity, including billing information and member notes, provided the claim has not yet been sent.
Step 1 – Verify claim status
- Ensure that the claim status is not set to Sent
- Note: If the claim status is already marked as sent, the billable details cannot be modified
Step 2 – Locate the member profile
- Use the menu on the left side of the dashboard to find the member section, and search the member
- Click on the member's name to open their Member Profile
- Navigate to the Activities section to find the specific record you wish to modify

Step 3 – Open the activity editor
- Identify the activity you want to edit from the list
- Click the three dots icon to the right of the activity row
- Select Edit Activity from the dropdown menu to open the form
Step 4 – Update activity details
- Modify the Started at or Completed at dates and times as needed
- Toggle the Mark as billable checkbox to add or remove billing requirements
- Update required claim information in the Claim Details section, including:
- Insurance provider
- Diagnosis codes
- Place of Service
- Procedures and Modifiers
- Add or edit Member Notes by clicking the + Add Note button and entering the updated information
- Reassign the User associated with the activity if necessary

Step 5 – Save modifications
- Review all changes to ensure the information is accurate and all required fields are complete
- Click the Update Activity button at the bottom of the window to save your changes
- Verify that the activity reflects the new details on the member profile
