Sending Referrals by Email or SMS
When setting up a referral template, you can choose how the message should be sent:
- Email: Sent to either the external organization or the member’s email address
- SMS: Sent to the member’s phone number (only available if your organization has call center functionality enabled)
You’ll follow the same steps for both. The only difference is where the message goes.
To send:
- Go to the member’s profile
- In the Referrals section, click the Send button next to the referral
- Choose Email or SMS
- Review and send
If SMS is not enabled for your organization and you would like to use this feature, please speak with your Customer Success Manager.
