Creating and Managing Email Templates
Create effective email templates and manage them efficiently.

Email templates in Pear Suite are predefined messages used to streamline communication with members directly from the platform. By setting up standardized templates, your team can ensure professional and consistent outreach while saving time during live activities or automated workflows.
Step 1 – Access the email templates section
- Navigate to the left-hand green sidebar and select the Templates icon.
- Locate the tabs at the top of the page and select Emails.
- Review the list of existing templates to see if a similar message structure already exists for your organization.
Step 2 – Initiate the template build
- Click the + Add Email Template button in the top-right corner.
- In the template editor, enter a Name for the template.
- Note: This name is for internal use only and helps your staff identify the correct template to use during an activity.
Step 3 – Configure subject and body
- Enter a clear Subject Line. This is exactly what the member will see in their inbox.
- Draft the Body Text of the email.
- Tip: You can use Placeholders (like {Member First Name}) to automatically pull in personalized data from the member's profile when the email is sent.

Step 4 – Save and integrate
- Review your message for accuracy and formatting.
- Click Save to finalize the template.
- Once saved, the template can be:
- Selected manually during a live activity or outreach.
- Added as an Answer Action to a flow question, allowing the email to send automatically based on a member's response.
