Managing Your Pear Suite Subscription
Table of Contents
Overview
The Manage Plan page in your Organization Settings gives you a central place to view your current plan, track your seat usage, and make changes to your subscription — like adding or removing seats. This page also shows your next payment date and connects directly to Stripe, where all billing changes are made.
How to Access Your Subscription Settings
- From the left navigation, go to Organization Settings
- Click the Manage Plan tab at the top
- Click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe billing portal
From Stripe, you can:
- Add or remove seats
- View and update your payment method
- See your next payment date and billing history
- Download past invoices
Understanding Your Plan Overview
At the top of the Manage Plan page, you'll see a summary of your current subscription:
- Plan name — for example, Currently on the Pro Plan
- Seat usage — shows how many seats you're currently using out of your total (e.g., Using 0 out of 10 seats)
- Next payment date — displays when the subscription auto-renews for the next cycle
- Usage percentage — displayed as a visual ring so you can quickly see how full your plan is
This gives you a real-time snapshot of your organization's capacity before making any changes.
Adding or Removing Seats
Seats control how many active users can exist in your organization. If you've reached your seat limit, you won't be able to add new users until you increase your seat count.
To add or remove seats:
- Go to Organization → Manage Plan → Manage Subscription
- This opens your Stripe billing portal
- In Stripe, update the number of seats for your plan
- Confirm the change — your next invoice will reflect the updated seat count
Note: You must have available seats before you can invite a new user to your organization. If you try to add a user and your seats are full, increase your seat count in Stripe first.
Adding and Managing Users
Once you have the right number of seats, you can manage your team directly in Pear Suite:
- Adding a User — how to invite someone new to your organization
- Deactivating a User — how to remove someone's access when they leave your team
