Before doulas can add their individual National Provider Identifier (NPI), the claim settings must be configured correctly.

  1. Update the claim configuration
    1. In the claim configuration settings, change the rendering provider setting from Organization to User.
    2. If you need help with this step, reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
  2. Update your provider details
Once the claim configuration is set to User, you can add your own NPI to your profile so it appears on claims.

Step 1: Open your profile

  • In the top-right corner of the screen, click the person icon located between the notification icon and the log-out button.
  • This opens your profile settings.
  • (Example shown below.)

Step 2: Go to Provider Information

  • Scroll down to the Provider Information section.

Step 3: Enter your information

  • In the NPI field, type your individual NPI number.
  • Complete any other required fields, such as your name and contact information.
    (Example shown below.)

Step 4: Save your changes

  • When you are finished, scroll to the bottom of the page and select Save.

Once saved, your NPI will automatically appear as the rendering provider on claims.
