Member Export Next Steps: Activity Export Next Steps: Goal Export Next Steps:

You can export most member data from Pear Suite, including member profile info, the answers to any questions documented in an activity, member notes and goals.

You start by creating an Export Template:

  1. Go to the Data Management page
  2. Click on Export Templates
  3. Click Create Export Template

Here you have an option to create a Member, Activity or Goal type of export template

  • Member Export will result in one row for each member meeting your criteria, including each data point you add to the template
  • Activity Export will result in one row for each instance of a certain type of activity, including each data point from the activity you chose to include.
  • Goal Export will result in a row for each goal created on a member's profile. If a member has 4 goals, that member will have 4 rows in the exported file.

Member Export Next Steps:

  1. Create a template name
  2. Optionally, set a filter to only include members from certain Member Groups
  3. Optionally, set a filter for any other data point. (i.e. only include people in California, or only include people who are have Medicaid)
  4. Map Columns of data you'd like to include in your export. This can include any member demographic data, answers to any assessment questions, or member notes.

Activity Export Next Steps:

Select the activity you'd like to export. You cannot select multiple activities to be included in a single export, but you can merge them post-export.

  1. Create a template name
  2. Optionally, set a filter to only include members from certain Member Groups
  3. Optionally, set a filter for any other data point. (i.e. only include people in California, or only include people who are have Medicaid)
  4. Map Columns of data you'd like to include in your export. By default this will include a column for every question in the activity. You can also include other details for the activity, such as dates/times, or any information captured for a claim for that activity.

Goal Export Next Steps:

  1. Create a template name
  2. Optionally, set a filter to only include members from certain Member Groups
  3. Optionally, set a filter for any other data point. (i.e. only include people in California, or only include people who are have Medicaid)
  4. Map Columns of data you'd like to include in your export. This can include any member demographic data, any element of the goals added to their profile such as name, description, action items and assigned date.

Once the Export Template is created, click Exports at the top of the page, then +Create New Export. You can then select a date range before completing the export. Once ready, the CSV file will be downloaded to your hard drive.

The Export Template is saved for future use.  To use an existing Export Template, click into the template the follow the steps in the previous paragraph.
