What’s New This Release
Group Scheduling Links and Date-Specific Availability
Scheduling links can now be created for an entire user group, giving members the ability to book appointments based on availability across multiple users instead of a single provider.
Users with User Management access can create group scheduling links from User Management > Scheduling.
Availability can be configured in two ways:
- Every Week sets the recurring weekly schedule.
- This Week lets you add, change, or remove availability for a specific date without changing the recurring schedule.
Available appointment times account for each included user’s Pear Suite activities and any external calendars connected to Pear Suite.
When booking, members can choose a specific provider or select Pick Any to be matched with an available provider. When choosing a provider, members can also view available profile information such as pronouns, gender, languages, and location.
Automatically Share Members with a Parent Organization
Members created within a sub-organization can now be automatically shared with its parent organization.
Once this setting is enabled, newly created members become available within the parent organization automatically while remaining associated with the sub-organization where they were created.
When the feature is configured, a Pear Suite Super Admin can also choose whether existing members should be shared with the parent organization. If existing members are not included, automatic sharing will apply only to members created after the setting is enabled.
This reduces the need to manually share members across connected organizations.
Match Member Imports Using CIN and Date of Birth
Member Import templates can now use Client Identification Number (CIN) and Date of Birth together to identify existing members.
This provides a more reliable way to match members when names vary between import files because of formatting, middle names, special characters, or other differences.
When the CIN and date of birth in an import match an existing member, Pear Suite updates the existing profile instead of creating a duplicate. Updated information from the import, including changes to the member’s name, is applied to the matched profile.
Organizations using this matching method should use a consistent CIN identifier and format across imports.
Edit Notes Within Activities
Users can now edit notes while completing an activity or directly from the End Activity modal.
You can open the activity’s notes, make corrections or updates, and continue documenting without leaving the activity workflow.
Changes are retained within the activity’s version history, allowing previous versions to remain traceable.
Merge Members Across Different Organization Memberships
Member Merging is now more flexible for organizations using Hub and sub-organization structures.
Duplicate member profiles can now be merged even when the two members do not belong to the exact same set of organizations.
When organization memberships differ:
- Both members can still appear in merge search.
- Pear Suite displays a warning before the merge is completed.
- Users can review the organization membership differences before deciding whether to proceed.
- Authorized users can continue with the merge without first making the organization memberships identical.
Pear Suite also respects organization access permissions when displaying this information. Users who do not have access to an affected organization will be informed that additional organizations are involved without seeing restricted organization names.
This makes it easier to consolidate duplicate profiles while maintaining appropriate access to organization information.
