Script Flow Automated Actions
When you build a script flow, you can add automated actions that run based on the selected response. Automated actions help you save time and ensure consistent follow-up.
Below is a list of action types you can use in script flows.
Create a Goal
This action creates a goal for the member. You must select which goal template to use. Goal templates must be created before you can select this option. See more in the Goals article.
Complete a Goal
This action will complete a goal if the member already has a goal created from the selected template. If no goal exists, the script flow continues without interruption.
Schedule an Activity
This action lets you schedule the next activity for the member. You can:
- Schedule immediately (right after the member completes the current activity)
- Schedule for a future date (a calendar will appear to select a date)
Update Member
This action updates a field in the member’s profile. You can choose:
- Constant field: The same update applies for all members. Example: When a member selects “Spanish,” the language field updates to Spanish.
- Dynamic field: The update depends on information stored in the related data ID. Example: If a member enters a new address in a data ID, that address automatically updates in their profile.
Create Referral
This action sends a referral to a template you have set up in the External Resources section. See more in the External Resources article.
Start Care Pathway
This action begins a care pathway for the member. See more in the Care Pathways article.
Update Care Pathway Status
This action changes a care pathway’s status to:
- Complete: Successful
- Complete: Unsuccessful
- Enrolled
Collect Consent
This action collects consent from the member. You must first create a consent template. You can then attach it to the action, whether verbal consent or consent with an attachment.
Add Member to Group
This action automatically adds the member to a group.
Remove Member from Group
This action automatically removes the member from a group.
Assign User
This action assigns the member to a user or user group. You can also assign to the current user completing the activity.
Unassign User
This action unassigns the member from the current user or from a user group.
Create Billing Procedure Limit
This action prompts the user to enter billing limit details when the action is performed.
Upload File
This action prompts the person completing the activity to upload a file. You can choose whether this is required or optional. File upload can be included in:
- Internal activities
- Member activities
- Onboarding surveys
