This article explains how to monitor and manage member referrals within the Pear Suite Platform. Tracking referrals from both individual profiles and organizational pages helps care teams coordinate outreach effectively and ensure members receive the support they need.
Step 1 – Access referrals from a member profile
- Open the specific member's profile by selecting their name from the dashboard or the members list
- Locate the Referrals section within the profile dashboard
- This area displays all referrals specifically added or sent for this individual
- You can view "one-off" referrals here that were created manually without using a template
- Review the list to see which services have been suggested or initiated for the member

Step 2 – Navigate the external resources page
- Navigate to the left-hand green sidebar and click the External Resources tab
- Use this page to get a comprehensive, organization-wide view of outreach efforts
- View all referrals sent across the entire organization that utilized templates
- Access a full directory of organizations listed as external resources
- Manage the specific referral templates currently in use by your team

Step 3 – Monitor and update referral statuses
- Locate the Status indicator next to any referral entry on either the member profile or the external resources page
- Identify the current stage of the referral, such as Sent, Opened, or Pending
- Update the status manually as the member progresses or as you receive confirmation from partners
- Select the option to Resend or Edit referral details if the information needs to be updated or if a partner requires a new notification
