Step 1 – Access your profile settings

  1. Navigate to the top-right corner of any Pear Suite page.
  2. Click the person icon located between the notifications bell and the log-out button.
  3. This will open your personal profile page, where you can manage your contact details and professional credentials.

Step 2 – Navigate to Provider Information

  1. Scroll down your profile page past the "Professional Information" and "Integrations" sections.
  2. Locate the Provider Information section.
  3. Click the + Add button in the right corner of this section to open the provider details form.

Step 3 – Input NPI and professional details

  1. In the National Provider Identifier (NPI) field, type your unique 10-digit NPI number.
  2. Complete the remaining required fields in the modal:
    • Tax Identification Number (TIN): Enter your organization or individual TIN.
    • Taxonomy Code: Input the code that best describes your specialty.
    • Name and Contact: Confirm your first name, last name, phone number, and physical address.

Step 4 – Save and verify billing details

  1. Review your entered information for accuracy to prevent claim denials.
  2. Click Save at the bottom of the modal.
  3. A notification will confirm that your billing provider was saved successfully.
  4. Once saved, your individual NPI will automatically be included as the rendering provider on all future insurance claims you generate.
