What’s New This Release
Manage User Scheduling Directly from User Management
Admins can now access a user's scheduling settings directly from the User Management table.
From the new User Scheduling column, admins can:
- Open a user's scheduling configuration
- Update availability
- Copy and share scheduling links
This makes it much easier to manage schedule changes, coverage, and availability without navigating through multiple pages.
Members Can Reschedule or Cancel Their Own Appointments
Scheduling links now allow members to manage their appointments themselves.
Using the secure link included in their confirmation email or SMS, members can:
- View appointment details
- Reschedule to another available time
- Cancel an appointment
- Receive confirmation after making changes
For staff, schedules update automatically when appointments are changed or canceled, and all updates are logged for visibility.
Expanded ERA Data for Better Billing Visibility
Additional ERA (Electronic Remittance Advice) information is now available directly within Pear Suite.
This includes expanded payer details that support:
- Medicare coordination of benefits (COB)
- Improved reconciliation
- Better visibility into payer processing
Quick Search from Anywhere in Pear Suite
A new Quick Search bar has been added to the top navigation.
From anywhere in the platform, users can quickly:
- Find members
- Navigate to pages
- Jump directly to frequently used areas
This reduces the number of clicks needed to move around the platform and makes navigation much faster.
Improved Diagnosis Code Management
Diagnosis Code selection has been redesigned to support larger code libraries and faster searching.
Organizations can now choose between:
- Using their own custom diagnosis code list
- Enabling the full system-wide diagnosis code catalog
Additional improvements include:
- Searchable diagnosis codes throughout the platform
- Consistent diagnosis code selection across activities, member profiles, and documentation
- Faster performance, even with very large diagnosis code datasets
Cross-Organization Activity Scheduling
Organizations using Hub structures can now manually schedule activities across organizations.
When enabled on an Activity Template:
- Users can schedule work into another organization where the member already exists
- Activities can be assigned to individual users, assigned users, or user groups in the destination organization
- Activities appear in the destination organization's workflows and assignments
Cross-organization activities must be scheduled for a future date and cannot be started immediately.
Tag-Based Access Control for Member Documentation
Organizations can now control access to Notes and files using tag-based visibility rules.
Admins can configure role-based access so users only see documentation they're authorized to access.
Supported content includes:
- Notes
- Note Templates
- Member Files
These permissions apply consistently across:
- Member profiles
- Exports
- APIs
- Editing and deletion actions
This enhancement helps organizations securely manage sensitive documentation while maintaining a shared member record.
